Alongside the PFR shaft kiln, which is world-wide the most important calcining system for the manufacturing of highly reactive burnt lime, due to its low specific heat consumption, Maerz now also offers a single shaft kiln for the production of low reactive lime, as well as rotary kilns for high output capacities. For special applications, for example in the PCC and in the soda industry, Maerz has an annular shaft kiln and - for processing of the smallest grain sizes - the suspension calciner, in its range of products.
