The Maerz EcoKiln® Ready concept represents a forward-looking approach to lime production. It has been designed to enable a future transition to oxyfuel kiln operation, creating the basis for a highly concentrated CO₂ stream and opening the door to carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). With this installation, Schaefer Kalk Malaysia has taken an important step toward aligning industrial production with their long-term decarbonisation goals.
