New S2 Maerz HPS Lime Kiln for Calce Casertana in Buccino, Italy

Our long-standing customer Calce Casertana has been relying on Maerz' proven technology for many years. Now a significant capacity expansion is on the horizon, and we are pleased to announce that we have signed another contract with Calce Casertana for an additional biomass-fired shaft kiln.

The lime plant of Calce Casertana processes both dolomite and limestone. From the very beginning, the company has focused on sustainability for the future and has therefore decided to use biomass – especially waste wood – as its main fuel. The new single-shaft kiln will also be fired with this environmentally conscious energy source.

With this investment, Calce Casertana is further expanding its production capacity by focusing on efficient and sustainable kiln technology. We look forward to further cooperation and the successful implementation of this project.

Do you have any suggestions on the topic or want to know more? I look forward to hearing from you.
