This greenfield project comprises a 600 tpd R4S kiln and an 800 tpd R5S kiln. Both kilns are coal fired. These are the first Maerz kilns for our customer Guizhou Gangli.
As part of the project, Maerz supplied engineering and key equipment as well as technical support services for the commissioning and firing of the kilns. Shanghai Maiyao built the turnkey plants and will operate them on behalf of the customer for the next few years. This gives Guizhou Gangli easy access to Maerz kiln technology.
At the last project meeting in China, the customer was impressed by the advanced technology, the efficiency of the kilns and the lime quality. By using Maerz kilns, Guizhou Gangli is contributing to significantly improved environmental protection. This is an important step towards the sustainable development of the group, as stated in this Chinese publication.
